About Us

Scissortail Fandoms Inc. is the organization behind the scenes that works year-round to bring you the AnthroExpo convention and local meetups.

Our History

Started back in 2018, Sci-Fi was originally named Our Way Oklahoma (O.W.O.). Our first AnthroExpo convention debuted in 2020, and Something Fur Eats merged into Sci-Fi in 2023.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community that celebrates creativity, advocates for diversity, and supports meaningful causes.

Our Outreach

We harness the collective enthusiasm of fandoms to support at-risk communities, including LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, animal welfare, and environmental awareness nonprofit groups.

Scissortail Fandoms Inc. is a group of talented folks from all over the world! We are a team of 70+ members who donate their skills, time, and efforts in creating extraordinary experiences and facilitating lasting relationships for our fellow Oklahomans.
